Activities and Venue

Exclusive Small-Group Workshops

Our retreats are designed for an intimate number of participants, allowing for dedicated attention and a relaxed, inspiring atmosphere. This small-group setting encourages creativity, connection, and the freedom to explore your own artistic voice.

Watercolor & Creative Journaling

Painting and journaling come together in a mindful, expressive practice that blends color, words, and observation. You’ll learn to capture your impressions and emotions rather than aim for perfection - using simple techniques like color swatches, loose sketches, and flowing watercolor washes. Every page becomes a living reflection of your journey through the island.

Island Inspirations & Local Life

Each day brings a new location - a quiet harbor, a sunlit courtyard. We’ll paint in places that invite you to slow down and take in the rhythm of island life. Enjoy coffee or wine as you sketch in local cafés, or paint the play of light and shadow in the narrow village streets.

Nature Walks & Seaside Moments

We’ll take easy walks through coastal paths and scenic viewpoints - carrying our journals to capture the ever-changing landscape. When possible, we’ll pause for a swim at one of Paros’s and Antiparos's beautiful beaches.

A Splash of the Aegean Spirit

Between our art sessions, enjoy time to relax, swim, or simply watch the horizon shift with the light. These moments of openness and presence often find their way back into your pages - transforming your journal into both a travel diary and an inner map of inspiration.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • At BarefeetParos, we believe in openness, trust, and simplicity. Our goal is to make your booking experience as smooth as the creative days we’ll share. This policy explains how we handle payments, cancellations, and refunds for our art retreats and workshops.

  • Reserving Your Place

To reserve your spot, a €200 deposit is required. Once we receive it, you’ll get a warm welcome email with all the practical details you’ll need to prepare for your time with us on Paros.

Because each retreat depends on a small, intimate group, we recommend waiting to book your flights until we confirm that the retreat is guaranteed to run. You’ll hear from us as soon as it’s confirmed - that’s your cue to book your travel and start daydreaming about painting under the island light.

The remaining balance is due 45 days before the retreat begins, and we’ll send you a gentle reminder before that date.

  • Cancellation by Barefeet Paros Workshops

If a retreat doesn’t meet the minimum number of participants, we’ll issue a full refund of your reservation fee.

In the rare case that we need to cancel due to force majeure or other unforeseen events beyond our control, we will also provide a full refund and do our best to help you find alternative dates or options.

  • Cancellation by Participants

If your plans change after you’ve made your full payment, the following terms apply:

    * Up to 45 days before the retreat: Full refund of your reservation fee.

    * 44 to 30 days before the retreat: 50% refund of the total amount paid.

    * 29 to 1 day before the retreat: Unfortunately, we cannot issue a refund.

We strongly recommend having travel, medical, and cancellation insurance to protect your investment in case of unexpected changes, illness, or travel disruptions.

  • Insurance

Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel and health insurance, including coverage for trip cancellation and interruption.

Barefeet Paros Workshops does not collaborate with any insurance provider, but we encourage you to choose a policy that offers comprehensive coverage.

  • Contact Us

If you have any questions about this policy or need any clarification, feel free to reach out. We’re happy to assist and look forward to welcoming you to Barefeet Paros.
